As I stated in my first article about preventing mistakes in educating English communication in Asia, educating is a studying process, for both students and teachers. In this post, I would like to present four more mistakes to prevent. Some are mistakes that I have made and some are mistakes that I have seen in educating English communication in Asia. While Hopefully you can gain knowledge from the mistakes presented here, hopefully you also understand that mistakes are unavoidable for both students and teachers. My recommendation is not to fear about making mistakes. Errors are the snorkeling systems for teachers to find success.

  1. Using too much Japanese people in the classroom

I generally avoid Japanese people in the category room. While careful Japanese people use is not a problem, very few teachers appear to do that well. Monitoring other English communication teachers and their classes shows teachers speaking Japanese people for a variety of reasons: to practice their own Japanese people, to become friends with students, because they cannot connect what they want to in English, and because it is easier. Most of students need some free English homework to choose.  Normally, none of the above are justification for using Japanese people in the English communication category room. Use English, making yourself a better tutor and helping your students to discover more.

  1. Based on student homework preparation for the lesson

As atutor, I have given many different kinds of homework preparation to students varying from homework preparation in books to demonstrations to give in category. I often strategy solving the homework preparation, hearing to an exhibition, or having a category conversation based on the demonstration. This can work magnificently when the homework preparation is done, but is challenging when homework preparation is only partly done or is not done at all. Homework is given more regard in the United States than in Asia. Always have a plan B if your session relies upon on student homework preparation. If your plan B also relies upon on student homework preparation, you may want to have a plan B for your strategy.

  1. Not asking for student feedback

Many teachers don’t succeed to ask for student reviews. Some teachers are new and not aware of involve asking for student reviews. Some of these teachers are not new and are exhausted of asking for reviews and receiving the same reviews every season. Tutors have new students annually, demanding educating the same points again and again.

You can find many tutors online but many students waste in playing crypto games, and don’t focus on their homework.
